Bob's Diary

What follows are extracts from the Diary of Jim "Bob" Carrington, edited for sake of consistency and clarity:

Continued from 8th Session:
After a minor disagreement with Blue about who's fault the firefight was we got on with the important task of opening the crates of stuff we got our hands on, asside from Kuri's toys which were fun (I didn't realise there was a second copy of the Mr. Gun-weilding maniac book) most of it was pretty dull, you know the usual crap, torches, powercells, RPG launchers. In the end I held onto most of my own stuff and a helmet with a HUD and a grenade, which is a shame really because if I'd had the sense to hold onto the glue gun I picked up I might have had something else to intergrate with my HUD, ho hum, the other guys picked up some cool stuff though, Spock got hold of this web launcher thing and Bitch (who we forgot to unpack) got some sort of floaty belt things that had her clinging onto the dragon's tail at some point, it was all very exiting handing out the weapons (they wouldn't let me have the C4 brickettes for my big bad grenade o' doom, bastards.) and it passed the time.
There are only so many dragons you can see coming down on you breathing flames and screaming like demons from the halls of diablo before you stop getting scared, as soon as that happens to me I'll tell you. It all started when we got to Sydney, it seems our big blue felt the need to go to Sydney when people started shooting at it, I think I'm the only one who sees the logic in this, anyways, there were dragons, there was the circle of destruction like the satalite showed and there was this big red fire breathing scarey thing that didn't like our dragon too much, as a result we are now about 50 miles from the opera house next to a big dead blue dragon trying to piece together how much stuff was thrown off the dragon's back and how much we have left, it seems the Kuri's teddy bears have gone but the coffee survived so at least that's ok. Kuri's shoulder mounted plasma cannon seems to be there too, I wonder if it intergrates with my HUD, I'll have to test that later.
Blue gave an invisbility belt to Pixie, which seems fair, I wonder if I should take the heavy plasma cannon?
(additional) it seems that Spock's web gun seems to be more than a simple web gun it's launched a big web of stuff that seems to be draining life from everything around here, including him, the only thing I can think of is to destroy the web with the biggest thing I can lay my hands on.
November 10th 2013:.
I think I have enough mobility to start writing again, I should probably exaplain what happened when I fired the exremly large plasma cannon that I'm not trained to use at the big thing I didn't understand and tried to give CPR to a man who has the ability to suck life out of people but it would be too much, the only points I will add are: Yes the HUD does intergrate with the heavy plasma cannon, if I ever choose to use it again I should probably take notice when it says "Warning, Minium Safe Distance Not Acheived" and not just flip the saftey override. Spock can suck the life out of people, I'll have to keep my cross handy from now on. Oh yes and Blue's new laser gun is shite, I wonder if I can play.
We have decided to make for the SE1, we know it's probably full of nasties but it's also the nearest place we can lay our hands on the right gear for going into the city. Why do we want to go to the city when it's obviously at least as bad as the one we evacuated from and will almost certainly get us near killed? Good question, I must have missed that part of the conversation. Ho hum, just like Bosnia really.
