Who's Playing Who?

Every player in the game has a character, these characters form a team working for an international mercenary corporation, in addition to their "real" name every player character has a five letter or less nickname, what follows is a brief desciption of each player character and some of the characters in their lives.

Nickname: Blue
Player: Tom
Name: Damian Blue
Speciality: Automatic weaponary, and part-time ass kicking.
Background: Brought up in the middle of the ongoing gang war that is downtown Chicago, Damian was a juvenile delinquent, and damn good at it - not, however, sufficiently good to stop him getting caught. The boot camp they sent him to did reform him, although not in quite the way they had in mind. For some reason, the regular army weren't keen to have him, straight out of prison, so he went to KF instead.
Notes: Blue is the team's gun-slinger and ass-kicker, when you need heavy firepower bring Blue. Especially fond of his Twin Uzis Blue is one of the team's more people persons, while he isn't intelligent, he does posess a certain cunning, and more common sense than you might expect. Blue was initially put in command, rather to his surprise, but since he isn't a qualified psychiatrist, this didn't work out too well. He seems more than happy to let others take the lead and chirp in when he feels it necessary - and occasionally forgets that he isn't in command at stressful moments, especially in combat. He currently claims to have the highest individual bodycount, by a factor of two or three.

Nickname: Bitch
Player: Sally
Name: Marie
Speciality: Althletics, Sneaking about and Communicating
Background: When she was a child Marie's village was bombed by the corporation she now works for. When the political climate changed and the corporation switched sides in the local civil war they created a scholarship program to foster public relations and gain recruits. Marie signed up immediatly and grew to love the people who slaughtered her family. Nice.
Notes: Marie is the team's token woman and thanks to the total lack of charisma in half the team was nicknamed Bitch just to piss her off. Bitch took this in the manner it was intended and made sure the team members who nominated the name got equally bad ones. Bitch is the team's talker, when contact outside the group needs to be made it is usually Bitch who does it. Thanks to her interpersonal skills Bitch also has the role of keeping the more psycotic members of the group in line. Bitch is also a reasonably good thief and is particularly agile, a fact which she demonstrated by running across a warehouse and grenading an evil crime lord before anyone could react. Bitch was one of the team members to be killed by Bob's Nuke in Session 11 and came back as a giant cat. Despite occasional bouts of mild insanity and severe depression Bitch seems to be uneffected by her recent death and retains her general cheerfulness within the group.

Nickname: Bob
Player: Edith (James)
Name: Jim Carrington
Speciality: Driving, Medical Support and Mayhem (Not in that order)
Background: A former soldier in the British Army, Bob saw combat before he joined up. The reasons for his leaving the Army to join a group of mercenaries are unclear, when asked he simply muttered something about his father, a general, mysteriously disapearing, that and something else about frogs but we figured he was just rambling.
Notes: Every Team has a psyco, in this case we have Bob. Bob is the team driver and medic and is usually quite calm unless something tips him over the edge, at this point he will open up with his beloved AK (or indeed whatever comes to hand) and release the pent up aggression in the most deconstructive manner possible. Bob is suprisingly intelligent for a gun-weilding maniac, unfortunetally this does not seem to get through to other people due to the fact his interpersonal skills are somewhat along the lines of pointing guns and then asking questions. Bob learned the art of heavy weaponry during the game and thought it meant he could use shoulder mounted plasma cannons. Upon finally deciding he could not he tried to dismantle the cannon to aviod it falling into the wrong hands. This caused the nuclear explosion at the start of Session 11. Bob has not been seen since.

Nickname: Bruce
Player: <name please!>
Name: Shane
Speciality: Hand to Hand combat
Background: Bruce used to be a extreme sports type from the Austailian outback. He joined the company to push his "sports" to the ultimate extreme.
Notes: Outback Man to the core Bruce has become particularly useful in the past few sessions thanks to his wilderness survival skills. He has also developed a firendship with Edith which some people may be reading too much into, simply because they disapear together for hours to "lay snares" every day...

Nickname: Pixie
Player: Jonathen Hogg

Name: <name>
Speciality: Stealing stuff, Throwing Knives and Hacking
Background: Not much is known of Pixie's background. What is known is that he was caught trying to steal important information from the company, impressed by his skills the company offered him a choice, work for them or die.
Notes: If Bob is the psyco of the group then Pixie is the kleptomaniac. A capable theif, Pixie is usually the one who will be sent to hack the target's computers or knife the security guards. Unfortunetally Pixie also has a obsession with stationary and will try to collect as much as possible on the way out of any office. Pixie also has a perchant for throwing knives, poisoned ones are his speciality, putting them in other people is optional. Following his death in Session 11 at the hands of Bob's Nuke, Pixie is now large Humanoid Koala, this has yet to noticably effect him. Following the removal of Bob Pixie became the focus for the group's annoyance, Pixie responded by becoming more annoying, this has resulted in him being repeatedly beaten shot and ignored, at some point he will learn, even if the team have to make a Koala-skin rug out of him...

Nickname: Spock
Player: David Knipe
Name: Jim Dooley
Speciality: Radio Use, Sniping and Theivery
Background: Spock doesn't talk much about his past. People try not to ask in this line of work.
Notes: The quietest member of the group is also its leader, Spock knows more science than is in most textbooks and will happiliy apply it where necessary, he can also work a radio pretty good too and is usually the one to establish contact with base during a mission. In Session 14 Spock mediated in order to find the secrets of life and death. Unfortunetally he found the secret to death rather well when a work tore his head off while he was distracted and floating. Spock immediatly resurected as a large black scaley dragon as designed by Gieger. He still talks with a timid voice.

Name: <?>
Speciality: Weaponry
Background: Sly was a member of the team briefly until he was killed on the first real mission by a hockey mask wearing lunatic and Bob.

Nickname: ?
Player: Edith The Hutt (James Bowe)
Name: Edith "two-sheds" Johnson
Speciality: Swords, Survival and Solid State Physics
Background:At the end of Session 11 Bitch found a woman and decided to drag her back to camp for questioning. This woman has been tagging along ever since, now armed with sword, staff and shortbow Edith is proving to be a raher useful person to have around, especially when she catches the food and beats the crap out of Pixie.

Nickname: Sarge
Player: GM
Speciality: Shouting
Notes: Sarge was the group's training officer during their first few months, he is still seen about the base occasionally, shouting at new recruits. Fate after the Earthquakes is unknown on Sarge.

Nickname: Kuri
Name: Col. Kurazaro
Player: GM
Speciality: Paperwork, Mercenary Management and Very Heavy Weaponry
Notes: Col Kurazaro is the team's immediate boss, responsable for organising the actions of all the teams on the base and making them profitable. She is usually seen buried in paperwork with her head in her hands during debriefings (and indeed briefings) asking "Why?", "You did what!?" and "Have you any idea how much this will cost?!". She is also known to have access to the kind of equipment the team can only dream of and the ability to use it with great accuracy, useful for keeping underlings in order. Last seen with a rat in a stealth field trying to slit her throat while she set up a rocket launcher. Last heard living in a despotism which resulted from the evacuation of Wellington (guess who was the despot) and ordering the team to check out a large dangerous sentient base.

Nickname: Hockey Mask Guy
Player: GM
Name: ?
Speciality: Killing with sharp objects.
Background: The Team met this notable adversary while conducting the assasination of crime lord "Tony the Chef" where he proved himself to be incredably dangerous by first murding his boss Tony and then Sly (although Bob pumping half a clip into him didn't help). After a battle on top of a cargo ship with Blue, Bruce, Sly and Bob which ended with Sly's death and the rest of the team in the water he was shot, apparently to death, by Spock from the shore. No body was recovered.
Notes: The Hockey Mask Guy is very stong and very fast, he has a hideous face (thus the mask) and has never been observed to use a gun, suggesting he prefers hand to hand weapons. He has used technological aids to increase his agility and was highly proficiant at the time. For their part the team hope like hell he's dead.
